Where Interests Turn Into Impact

Student organizations are where campus life comes alive. They help students build community, discover interests, and develop leadership, teamwork, and career-ready skills beyond the classroom. Getting involved connects students to peers and mentors, fosters a sense of belonging, and turns college into a more meaningful, empowering experience — one where students don’t just attend, but truly engage and grow. All UNT students can search for active student organizations through the OrgSync portal. To find student orgs specific to Frisco, use the keyword search option.

Interested in creating a new student organization at Frisco? Set up an appointment in Navigate. Search for “How to Start an Organization” under the UNT at Frisco Care Unit. For questions or help connecting with a Frisco based organization, contact Marlena.Jordan@unt.edu.

Frisco Student Union

Frisco Student Union (FSU) gives students the opportunity to define, create, and develop culture and student life at UNT at Frisco. Union Members provide input and feedback on events and resources to help better support all needs of Frisco students. 

Students in FSU will be invited to participate in:

  • Monthly socials 
  • Face to face meetings with campus administrators 
  • Developing signature campus programs 
  • Volunteer opportunities on campus
