UNT at Frisco and Collin College have partnered together to provide students with more course options and an affordable way to complete your degree in business and science. This partnership enables students to enroll in courses at both Collin College and UNT concurrently, while following a designated degree path at UNT.
  • Locations: Collin College classes offered at Collin College’s Frisco campus and UNT at Frisco campus.
  • Simultaneous enrollment: Students are admitted to both institutions, allowing enrollment in courses that transfer into UNT degrees, providing a more cost-effective path to earning their degree at UNT.

checkboxConnect with a UNT Academic Advisor

  • Discuss eligible Collin coursework with your academic advisor
  • Advisors will add XPTH courses to your schedule to indicate the total credit hours enrolled at Collin.
  • XPTH courses will be dropped if Collin registration and third party release are not complete.

  • Complete the application on https://www.applytexas.org. Biology majors select "Associate of Science," business majors select "Business Field of Study."
    • Students enrolled at Collin College in the last academic year who have an active account may skip this step.
  • Add Collin College to your third-party release at UNT to share records & transfer courses to UNT.
    • In myUNT, click your profile tile.
    • Select third party release from the left-hand menu.
    • Click the add person button.
      • Add: Collin College | relationship = other school/university | 972-377-1710 | admissions@collin.edu | passcode = Frisco
    • Select all items to release your full record.
    • Select “student record information release” to permit UNT to send and receive your academic and financial records automatically.
    • Click Save.
  • Enroll in your UNT courses through myUNT.edu.

Ryan College of Business
  • Email Toya Jackson (toyajackson@collin.edu) at Collin College and CC Brittany Reiner (brittany.reiner@unt.edu) with the following information:
    • Request - UNT concurrent student enrollment
    • Collin ID # & name admitted
    • UNT student ID # & name admitted
    • Collin course title, course number and course time
    • When you receive a confirmation email from Collin College, log into cougarweb student portal, www.collin.edu, and review your Collin schedule
College of Science
  • Register through Cougarweb Portal
Financial Aid and Scholarship Recipients

You must be enrolled at least part-time at UNT to obtain financial aid from UNT.
