Frisco Engage features 12 distinct event types that students can attend both in person and online. These events are divided into two focused tracks: Personal Development and Career Readiness, with six event types in each track. Each event type includes a corresponding module. After attending an approved event, students complete a short reflection to earn credit for that module.
Students may begin the Frisco Engage program as early as their first semester at UNT at Frisco and continue participating at any time before graduation. Modules completed in one semester automatically carry over to future semesters, allowing students to progress through the program at their own pace.
Frisco Engage events are advertised through the Frisco Engage Canvas page, our online event calendar, and through our social media accounts. Each event will be advertised with the icons corresponding to a specific module of the Frisco Engage program.
Each time you submit a reflection or assignment for a module, our Student Services Team will mark which modules or parts of modules you have completed. The Student Services team will periodically reach out to students to update your progress.
We also encourage you to use the chart below to track your progress along with the built-in Canvas features such as the 'Grades' tab, that will show you what you have already turned in.
