Will I be considered a Collin College student if I take Collin College classes?
When you are admitted and registered at Collin College and UNT concurrently, you are considered a student of both institutions and can participate in all events and services at UNT and Collin College.

Do I have to take Collin College classes at the Frisco campus location?
You may take the approved classes at any Collin College campus. The enrollment and transfer of credit process is the same for any of the Collin College campuses.

How do I register and pay for the Collin College classes?
Once you are admitted to Collin College, College of Science students may enroll themselves in their desired sections. Business students will contact Toya Jackson (toyajackson@collin.edu) to register for the classes you need. All students should be sure to complete the third-party release form through myUNT to allow Collin College and UNT to share your academic and financial information. Your advisor will also add a pathway course on your UNT schedule (XPTH) showing that you have registered for a Collin College course. UNT will provide you a single billing statement for all courses and will be your financial aid contact.
Can I use my financial aid at UNT and at Collin College?
If attending courses at Collin College and UNT, please contact the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office as soon as possible to discuss any impacts to your financial aid.
Why do I have to see a UNT academic advisor?
A College of Science or Business academic advisor should review your degree audit to verify that Collin College classes are right for you. Advisors will ensure the courses will apply to your biology or business degree and enroll you in XPTH courses at UNT.
What can I do to make the transfer of credit between UNT and Collin College easier?
UNT and Collin College can automate the transfer of credit between institutions with your permission. Permission is granted by logging in to your myUNT and completing the third-party release form. Follow the instructions on the checklist to add Collin College to your “third party release” form in myUNT.
