Career Services, Resources and Information for Industry Partners and Employers

Career Services at UNT offer a variety of opportunities for potential employers and industry partners to build relationships with current students and find future employees that would benefit the industry. As partners with UNT and all of its branches, use our resources and let us help you provide opportunities for students to find life-time employers through industry panels, career fairs, networking events, and more!

Recruit at UNT - Build a Presence

Brand awareness is a key recruiting element; we encourage you to build it early with frequent on-campus visits and regular engagement with our students. To get connected with our Frisco Career Center, please contact untfrisco@unt.edu for more information.

Career Fairs and Networking Events

The Career Center offers industry specific networking events and larger major career fairs every fall and spring semester. Here, companies can make connections with students and alumni in a variety of formats that meet the needs of their organization. You can access our calendar for upcoming Career Fairs and Networking Events to see what is coming up and begin planning your next recruiting event.

On-Campus Interviews

Recruiting on-campus in one of the Career Center's twenty-three interview suites is an effective way to gain visibility and recruit superior talent for your organization. Learn more about On-Campus Interviews at UNT at Frisco.

Tabling

Employers have the option of tabling at Hall Park, Inspire Park, or CHEC. All tabling options give employers access to many students across all majors for maximum exposure to our talented student population. For more information about tabling in Frisco, please contact untfrisco@unt.edu.

Speaking Opportunities

Our Career Center has relationships with faculty across campus that often welcome employer speakers to their classes to speak on industry topics. Visits by industry partners provide information about job opportunities, give students a chance to ask questions specific to their industry interests and allow for industry connections to be established between students and future employers.

Micro-Internships

UNT at Frisco helps employers establish virtual presence on campus and build mutually beneficial and meaningful connections with students through Micro-Internships. Micro-internships provide employers with the same benefits as traditional internships, but the projects are much shorter (typically 5 to 40 hours). These programs provide students and recent graduates the opportunity to complete short-term, paid, professional assignments in their field of expertise in a completely virtual setting. Visit About Micro-Internships to learn more.

Videos

Use these Employer Guidelines for Creating Videos to produce a video that will facilitate your connection with UNT students and alumni using your computer and software you already have. Examples of videos produced by employers are included in the guidelines.
