UNT at Frisco offers many transfer-friendly degrees. In order to be admitted to UNT at Frisco, you must first be admitted to the University of North Texas.

Apply to UNT

Apply online at ApplyTexas using the application information specific to your program (Step 3). Check your application status on my.unt.edu.

Individual review is an option for any transfer student who does not meet the entrance requirements. Your file will be reviewed by an admissions office and they will work with you on options for possible admission.

Transfer Excellence Scholarships are available to undergraduate students that have a demonstrated track record of academic success who are transferring to UNT for the first time from a community college or an accredited university. These two-year awards range from $1,500 to $4,000 per year based on transfer cumulative GPA. There is also a bonus available for eligible Associate degree completers!

The UNT at Frisco Transfer Incentive Program is intended to provide assistance to new undergraduate students that transfer to UNT and take a minimum of six semester credit hours per term at UNT at Frisco (Hall Park, Inspire Park) or the Collin Higher Education Center (CHEC). The amount of this non-competitive award varies based on the number of semester credit hours taken at UNT at Frisco and/or the CHEC.

Interview with the program director

Once your application is received, we will reach out and plan an in-person interview with the program director.

We invite you to learn more about this program at one of our info sessions where you can speak directly with faculty and admissions officers.

All attendees receive an Application Fee waiver ($75) and are entered into a scholarship drawing (up to $700).

All upcoming events will still continue but be moved to online platform through Zoom - once registered, you will receive a Zoom link and related documents through email to prepare you for participation
