MKTG 4240 – Corporate Partnerships (3 hrs)
Explores how organizations in the sport entertainment industry can develop corporate partnerships. Previously, students have conducted research on new product sponsorship categories for the Dallas Cowboys. The course deliverable was a sponsorship pitch deck.
MKTG 4230 - International Brand Strategies (3 hrs)
Introduction to brand strategies within the international sport entertainment industry. In the past, students have worked on a marketing campaign for the Dallas Mavericks. The course deliverable was a brand strategy plan for the Mavericks to pursue.
MKTG 4020 – Ticket Operations (3 hrs)
Explores how professional sports entertainment organizations can develop ticket sales strategies. Previously, students have visited the Frisco Roughriders and worked at their call center to sell tickets.
MKTG 4325 – Fan Engagement (3 hrs)
Introduces fan relationship management, allowing students to become acquainted with the unique, deep emotional connections that people maintain with their sport entertainment organizations. In the past, students have developed a theme-based promotional event for the Allen Americans hockey team. The course deliverable was a promotional and activation plan for the event.
