Are you interested in applying for a scholarship? Did you know that every year there are unclaimed scholarship funds every year? You can lay claim to scholarship money by applying through the Eagle Scholarship Portal. This will put your name in multiple scholarships all at one time!

UNT at Frisco Scholarship Programs

As part of our efforts to support our students’ learning opportunities and investing in their futures, we have secured several scholarships that will be available in the near future.

We are pleased to announce the following recently endowed gifts to support UNT at Frisco:

The Satish and Yasmin Gupta Endowed Scholarship for UNT at Frisco

To be eligible for consideration, an applicant for the scholarship must meet the following criteria:

    1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the University (or its successor) in effect at the time of any award;
    2. Maintain full-time enrollment as established by the University, unless the student is nearing completion of their degree program and does not need full-time enrollment;
    3. Enroll as a full-time student majoring in a degree program currently held at UNT at Frisco and plan on completing the majority of coursework on the UNT Frisco campus. It is highly recommended that the student attend UNT at Frisco orientation; and
    4. Demonstrate financial-need as determined by the UNT Financial Aid & Scholarships Office (or its successor), which includes an application process that contains written release from the student to share financial aid information between University departments and donors coordinating related award processes.

To be eligible for consideration, an applicant for the Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the University (or its successor) in effect at the time of any award;
  2. Maintain full-time enrollment as established by the University, unless the student is nearing completion of their degree program and does not need full-time enrollment;
  3. Enroll as an undergraduate or graduate student in any degree granting program at UNT at Frisco (or its successor) at the University;
  4. Demonstrate financial-need as determined by the UNT Financial Aid & Scholarships Office (or its successor), which includes an application process that contains written release from the student to share financial aid information between University departments and donors coordinating related award processes; and
  5. Submit a personal statement that addresses what the applicant would do, if selected, to show gratitude for receiving the scholarship and to pay this forward by contributing towards another student’s education and/or giving back to the UNT community if their financial position allows them to do so.

External Funding

There are also numerous private and industry grants and scholarships. To find out more about them check with industry associations, speak to employers, and talk to professors. 

Making Payments

All payments towards your academic career can be made via your my.unt.edu student portal, or in person with cash or check at the UNT Cashier. If you need more information on making payments, please visit the student accounting page here

Payment Options

There are several payment arrangements as well as short term loan options for students that can be set up with Student Accounting. These payment plans can be found on their website and accessed through your my.unt.edu account and looking in your Student Account tab.
