In order to assist you with your transition to UNT at Frisco, all new students are required to attend orientation. Orientation is a program designed to help students and families become acclimated to the university.
During orientation, you will have the chance to meet with faculty and staff, meet your new classmates, connect with current students, learn about university resources, and receive academic advising in preparation for registering for classes. You will leave orientation understanding our university's spirit and traditions, as well as what to expect as you embark on your college experience.
Students who are pursuing a UNT at Frisco degree will need to register for a UNT at Frisco orientation session. You can find your UNT at Frisco degree on the list below:

Summer and Fall 2023
Summer and Fall 2023 are right around the corner and we are so excited to welcome you! Be sure to sign up for orientation at your soonest convenience. Please note, course registration for new students takes place during orientation. It is recommended that you attend the earliest orientation possible for optimal course availabilty. Students who attend UNT at Frisco orientations should plan to commute to and from campus for orientation. No housing is provided for these sessions.
It is preferred that freshman attend Freshman Orientation, but if you are admitted for the summer term and there are no Freshman Orientation sessions available prior to the start of the term, select from the Summer Orientation listed below.

Disability Accommodations

Orientation Fee
The orientation fee includes orientation program expenses, UNT T-shirt, participant materials, administrative costs, and year-long orientation activities.
NOTE: Payment arrangements for the orientation fee of $45 must be made at the time of registering for the session to secure your spot. Orientation fees are non-refundable. To view our policy, visit our How to Register page.
