- Dr. Ashley Reis: Ashley Reis is Senior Lecturer of English within the University of North Texas's New College. Dr. Reis’s inclusive and accessible teaching philosophy, reflects her deep commitment to creating equitable spaces in an inequitable society. Accordingly, she employs anti-racist and anti-colonial pedagogies, and crafts course policies and content that consider and reflect students’ diverse experiences, voices, and resilience.
- Dr. Joanna Davis-McElligatt: Dr. Davis-McElligat has focused upon Black Diasporic Literature, Critical Race and Ethnic Studies, and Southern Studies, which encompass an astonishingly broad intellectual and theoretical terrain. Dr. Davis has also taught a course on the literature, philosophy, and aesthetics of Afrofuturism, which will give us an opportunity to read some of the greats in her field, including N.K. Jemisin, Fred Moten, Octavia Butler, and Nalo Hopkinson.
- Dr. Valerie Martinez-Ebers: Director of LMAS, Professor, Department of Political Science, University of North Texas, and Co-Editor of the American Political Science Review. Dr. Martinez has published widely on education policy, Latino/a politics, women in politics, and methods of survey research.
- Dr. Aja Martinez: Dr. Martinez conducts research on and teaches a range of courses concerning rhetorics of race and ethnicity, including the rhetorics of race within both Western and non-Euro-Western contexts, and beginning, professional and advanced writing courses.
